My Psychological Services
01.
Individual therapy can offer a place to slow down, make sense of what you are feeling, and better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change is more likely when you feel safe, understood, and supported.
I work with adults experiencing concerns related to mood and anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), body-focused repetitive behaviours (e.g., hair pulling, skin picking), emotion regulation, navigating life transitions and stress. I also have a particular interest in interpersonal and relationship difficulties, intimacy and sexuality-related concerns, PTSD and complex trauma, and women’s mental health.
Together, we will explore your experiences with curiosity and care while developing practical strategies to support coping, healing, greater self-understanding, and lasting change.

Couples often come to therapy feeling caught in conversations that seem to lead to the same painful place, both wanting closeness, but struggling to find their way back to one another. My role is to help you pause these interactions, understand what each of you is experiencing beneath the immediate disagreement, and create room for a different kind of conversation.
Beginning with an Emotionally Focused Therapy approach, we will explore the emotions, needs, and attachment concerns that can contribute to criticism, defensiveness, withdrawal, or disconnection. The focus is not on deciding who is right or wrong. Instead, we will work together to recognize the pattern that has developed between you and find new ways of responding with greater openness, compassion, and emotional safety.
I also draw from other evidence-based approaches when helpful, offering practical support with communication, conflict resolution, trust, intimacy, and reconnecting after difficult moments. The aim is not to create a flawless relationship, but one in which you can face challenges as a team, recover more readily from disconnection, and experience a stronger sense of closeness and mutual understanding.

A diagnostic assessment can help bring clarity to symptoms, concerns, or patterns that may be affecting your well-being and daily life. You may be wondering whether a particular diagnosis fits or looking for a clearer understanding of what you have been experiencing. My goal is to make the process collaborative, clear, and comfortable.
During the assessment, I will consider your current concerns, personal history, symptoms, strengths, and overall functioning. Depending on your needs, it may include a structured clinical interview and standardized questionnaires. Rather than focusing only on a diagnostic label, we will work together to understand how biological, psychological, environmental, and social factors may be contributing.
We will review the findings together and discuss any relevant diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and next steps. The aim is to provide greater clarity, a deeper understanding of your experiences, and practical guidance for moving forward.

I offer clinical supervision and consultation to professionals and trainees who are looking for a supportive, collaborative space to strengthen their skills, deepen their clinical thinking, and build confidence in their work.
My approach is developmental, evidence-based, and tailored to your level of experience, professional goals, and evolving clinical needs. Together, we can explore case formulation, treatment planning, therapeutic challenges, professional development, and the thoughtful integration of evidence-based practice.
If you are interested in exploring whether supervision or consultation may be a good fit, please reach out to discuss your goals and training needs.
